For developers · Product preview

Turn the work you shipped into a story people can scan and trust.

QCV is a resume platform for every profession. This developer-focused workflow is being designed to help you bring projects, experience, and technical context into one reviewable career profile—then tailor the signal for each role.

Pre-launch: GitHub import, file import, the production CLI, visual editor, publishing, and PDF export are not available yet.

Designed in public copy. Product capabilities remain pre-launch.

PLANNED

01 / WORKFLOW

A shorter path from source material to a focused resume.

Each stage below is planned. The intended design keeps imported material explainable and gives you the final say before anything reaches a resume.

01PLANNED

Bring useful evidence in

Choose public GitHub profile details and repositories, or import deterministic Markdown/JSON. Imports will start as a preview—not an automatic rewrite.

02PRE-LAUNCH

Edit the document itself

The planned visual editor will let you refine wording, reorder sections, and decide which projects support a particular application.

Publish and export

Publishing to a QCV URL and deterministic PDF export are planned. Download controls will appear only when real export is available.

02 / TECHNICAL STORY

A repository list is not yet a career narrative.

A useful developer resume connects technical choices to scope, constraints, collaboration, and outcomes. QCV’s planned workflow will help organize that evidence without inventing claims.

01

Lead with impact

Explain what changed for users, teammates, reliability, cost, or delivery—not only which tools were used.

02

Add just enough context

Clarify your ownership, the system’s scale, and the constraint that made the work difficult.

03

Curate the stack

Keep the technologies that support the target role. A long keyword inventory can bury the stronger evidence.

04

Make it readable

Use familiar section labels, selectable text, and a clear hierarchy. No builder can guarantee results in every ATS.

03 / SOURCES

Planned inputs, with review built in.

QCV will ask you to select and confirm source material. It will not treat an external profile as a finished resume.

Markdown importPLANNED

Use a deterministic, reviewable file as a starting point for your career profile.

CLI workflowPRE-LAUNCH

The current package is a prototype; production login, import, edit, and publish commands are planned.

04 / GUARDRAILS

Built around your judgment, not a black box.

  • Review before change

Imported fields remain a draft until you confirm them.

  • One source, tailored documents

Your reusable career profile and each resume stay distinct.

  • Truthful availability

Planned editor, publishing, PDF, and CLI controls will not masquerade as live tools.

  • Readable, never guaranteed

Templates are intended for clear parsing, with no promise of universal ATS performance.
